We exited the train, crossed the street, and I got goosebumps as we caught our first glimpse of THE dome....
We took a detour for lunch, then came back to cross over and walk the other side of the canal....
At the end of our day, after visiting Peace Park, a couple of the museums, and Hiroshima Castle Tower, Rodney and I made our way back by the dome before catching the bullet train back to Iwakuni....
An extremely memorable experience....
