Miyajima Foods

Best I could tell, these are fish of some sort pressed onto the rods and cooked over the heat. They're then sliced and sold for Y250 (~$2.50) a serving.

A great coffee mug!
Yontory Zuper-Blend Coffee BUSS

With all the Japanese maple trees covering the island, the leaf makes a great iconic shape for many of their treats. We didn't try any of the above flavors: octopus, cod roe, cheese, conger eel, shrimp.

We opted for chocolate!

Remember the pictures of the oyster platforms? These are what they look like growing under those platforms. This display shows growth through two years.
This was the first oyster grill we saw upon our arrival, but it was closed when we were leaving.

So, we opted for this one!
Four-hundred yen (~$4) for two oysters.
We bought one plate and one Coke to share.
We sprinkled season salt on top and that's pretty much all I tasted. BUT, I did it!!

After our oyster tasting, we headed on to the ferry and made our departure and bid the island adieu.

Ready to catch the train back to Iwakuni.
