Fishing canoe from the 2nd half of the 20th century
I loved the colors and unique shape of this Tibetan vase from the Qianlong Reign time period of 1736-1795.
They have an extensive bell display.
Fascinating Fashions
These two are from the Qing Dynasty.
A small carved jade piece from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
Musicians in Stone (circa 907- 960)
This red lacquer piece from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) was probably the most amazing of all. It's hard to tell from this picture (maybe you can click to enlarge), but the intricate carved detailing must have taken a phenomenal amount time and patience and skill!!!
We had evidently arrived at just the right time, for when we were leaving the museum, the line was stretched all the way across the plaza, around the corner, and down the block!!!!
Rodney got a kick out of this sign ;0)
And, I got a kick out of this one! It was a vending machine for key fobs, ear buds, and other small items!
Our day was quickly sliding by... We had time to make it to one more stop-- the 95th floor of the Bottle Opener!!
