One last look back at Hedo Point.
In our driving around, we found this awesome look-out spot---LOVE this view!
These are fishermen out on the jetty in the above picture.
Rachel posing with Yaeburu Rail lifting weights!
This place made a perfect lunch stop--it was air conditioned!! It was a visitors center with all kinds of goodies to buy, a little museum of items from earlier days of the fishing trade, and a very tasty noodle shop who's meat "claim to fame" is domestic pig bred with wild boar! Rodney was the brave one to order it, but let us try a bite--it was actually pretty tasty!
We took a side journey to drive over to some smaller islands, the furthest one out was Kouri Island.
It was a very low developed island with many little farming areas and one main road that circled it.
Along that road, we found this picture spot!
Pretty much in the middle of nowhere!!
The bridge onto Kouri Island...
...where they have the most absolutely GORGEOUS water at this beach---crystal clear!
Next time we head over there, I'm making sure we take along our snorkeling gear!!
So, we made it all the way north, next up: our adventures "down south" :)
